Assuring Grace

Spiritual hunger occurs when you are not satisfied with where you are or whatyou know about Elohim. This “hunger and thirst” is personal. People around you may not understand.

In my desire to know more of the Lord, I bought, read and listened to teachings and preaching by different vessels of God. I attended so many conferences as there was a hunger and thirst in my Spirit. This was not satisfied because I was not receiving enough teaching from where I was.

God saw my genuine search. He ordered my steps to the right place where I could be fed and grow. He will do it for anyone who genuinely seeks Him. The Word of God says in;

Psalms 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the? Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

When you are so hungry and thirsty for the Lord, you will seek Elohim with passion. This is by praying earnestly to hear His Word and studying the Word hungrily.

Mathew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

It's only the Word of Elohim that can quench our thirst; any other drink will make us thirst again.

John 4:13-15 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

This fountain of living water will wash away any spots or wrinkles, sin, and traditions of men in our lives. This will allow the pure water of life to flow from our innermost beings.

You can desire this water so that you will not thirst again. You will be refreshed into everlasting life.

Yeshua said we should eat His flesh, which is His Word. As we eat the Word, our hunger will be satisfied. The need to eat more should be continuous, just as we need to eat physical food. If we stop eating, we will stop growing in the things of Elohim.

John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them,? I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

What a promise from our Father! Our responsibility is to believe and come to Him. We abide in Him and He in us when we are sold out to Him. Praise God! The creator of the universe is dwelling in us.

As we abide in Him and He in us, we receive this special gift of righteousness.

Are you hungry and thirsty for the Word of God? Do you seek after righteousness? Eat His flesh and drink His blood (The Word), you will surely be filled because His Word is true. He will do what He has promised, He will do them because He is a faithful God.

Praise the Lord!
