Financial Stewardship

Stewardship is about looking after the gifts and ministry Elohim has committed to our trust. It is about managing resources graciously given to us, using them in the advancement of His Kingdom.
We are called to serve one another with our gift and calling. ' As every man hath received the gift, even so, minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. (1 Peter 4:10 KJV). Our work and businesses are not exempted: ‘And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men’ (Colossians 3:23 KJV). We are to use our gifts, including financial resources in bringing Him glory. Do we realise that every good and perfect thing is from our Elohim (James 1:17)? If yes, we ought to use our God-given resources effectively and efficiently in accordance with the will of He who gave them to us.
I am reminded of my favourite Digging Deep lesson - The Parable of the Ten Pounds by our Mother in Israel, Pastor Grace. Our Lord Yeshua Jesus tells usabout the Master, giving money to his servants before departing on a journey, instructing them to use their resources appropriately. (Luke 19:12-27). Two of the servants invested the money and came back with returns to the Master. Servant number 3 buried his gift, returning the one pound with not a single dime more.
To servant 1, the Master declares in Luke 19:17 '... thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a little, have thou authority over ten cities'. Beloved, this is huge. Servant 1 brought back 10 additional pounds to what he was given, and he is rewarded with 10 cities. He has proven he can be trustedand is diligent in the things of His kingdom. Servant 2, returning with extra 5 pounds was rewarded with 5 cities. Our Elohim delights in investment returns. Servant 3 did nothing with the gift from the Master. At least he could put the pound into an interest yielding saver account. He chose neither to trade nor doKingdom business with his 1 pound. The result of which the Master took that 1pound and gave it to servant number 1.
As excellent stewards, let us decide to give Elohim the utmost best. Our excellent service pleases Abba Father! We ought to do Kingdom business with what Elohim has freely given to us. In preparing to meet our God; consider being diligent in the 'little' Elohim has committed to you, returning with a bounty interest when the roll of yonder is called. Make a fresh commitment, ' I will make the Kingdom Business of making disciples a priority using all available platforms' Matt 28:18-20 KJV.
