No rank business! I Need My Miracle

My husband and I sent a Bible to a Noble person. The Bible was returned with a beautiful thank you note explaining that the Noble person does not receive gifts. High ranks and status have deprived a class of our society from getting the best from God. One nobleman in John 4:45-54 who lived in Capernaum, a centre of development, defied this pride to get his blessings. He knew that when push comes to shove, what matters is the decision you make.
His son was dying, and he faced humbling himself to Jesus for salvation or remain in pride and arrogance, position, and what people might think of him. He chose to be humble and ditched pride. He needed a miracle, so nothing would stop him. He knows where the power is and so would go for it. For him, it is “Yes he had money but that could not save his son,”. The Pharisees who were putting Jesus down couldn’t help him, there was no need listening to them. He left the city and went to the village of Cana to look for Jesus! He was a wise man. He knew that money cannot afford life nor stop anyone from dying. He should have been ashamed to come to Jesus. Unfortunately, many have missed out on matters of life and death because of pride, public opinions, and unnecessary air of affluence.
He was a nobleman and used to being respected by all and so he asked Jesus to come and heal his son. Although he got a gentle rebuke, he didn’t mind. Naaman was one man that would have remained in leprosy if he had not humbled himself. He couldn’t imagine himself going to Jordan to wash. He was considering his elevated position, what people would say, and even asked Elisha to come to him, just as this nobleman asked Jesus. Thank God, both rescued themselves. Will you rescue yourself? What aspect of you needs healing, rescue, salvation. JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND LIFE. He is the true vine, He is the door, He is the light, and we can only be saved by Him. You cannot remain in fear of men or in yourself and suffer in vain. It is time to awake to consciousness. We have only one life. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Nobody can save you from the wrath to come, and nobody will go to the grave with you. We will be buried or cremated alone. All the nobility and importance end as you take the last breath. What will it profit us to gain the world and lose our soul?
Be wise as this nobleman. Although a rich man, he came down with others in the crowd. There are times in life we have to face realities. He got what he wanted, the words of Jesus. He didn’t see but believed! He went, holding on tightly to what he received. He acted his faith and headed home. The Master had spoken and so it was done; the master of ocean and earth and sky. Waves have no choice but to calm down. With Him, all things are possible. If He can turn water into wine, then my son is healed. Wealth gives way, pride gives way, shame gives way, affluence gives way, I have in me something I cannot afford to lose. He did not argue. To him it’s “Off I take my journey, it is done!!!!”
May we not be so high up that stooping to pick up blessings is difficult. Get your salvation, healing, and deliverance.
