Assuring Grace

Ezekiel 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

A man that should make up the broken hedge.

A man that will rebuild the broken walls of the city.

A man of passion, a man without sin that bears the burden of others.

A man with clean hands who will lift up holy hands.

A man of commitment.

A man of faith.

A man of strength and meekness, a warrior by nature.

A man of forgiveness, a man who understands the times. Not a timewaster.

A man that stands out from orders.

A man with an intimate relationship with God.

A man who will not follow the multitude to commit sin.

A righteous man.

A man that trembles at God’s word.

A man who can persevere in prayers.

A man of knowledge and understanding.

A man filled with the spirit of Elohim.

A friend of God.

Abraham was presumptuous and thought there might be up to 50 in the land of thousands in Sodom. He was mistaken; he came down to 20 and 10, but little did he know that these are rare men. These men are hard to find. In Israel, God could not find one.

Genesis 18:32 KJV And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.

Is there not one person who can pray to resist the hands of the scourge? This is challenging!

How can one be found, when churches are now filled with religious activities? Holiness and righteousness are no longer preached on our pulpits. Churches have been invaded by false prophets, worldliness is promoted, consecration is derided. The walls of the city are broken, and we are strangers in our land. We are too busy chasing carnalities. Isaiah 59:16 KJV And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

A man who can plead the course of others.

God is looking for a man who will stand in the gap.

A man whose worship will cause God to arise.

A man to deliver the message with passion like Jeremiah.

A man like Nehemiah, who will be prepared to rebuild the wall.

A man like Daniel, who will not be deterred by opposition.

A man who will weep between the porch and the altar, in sackcloth and ashes.

A devoted man.

Jeremiah 5:1 Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.

A man like Moses, who is happy to exchange his life for the people.

Psalm 106:23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before Him in the breach, to turn away His wrath, lest He should destroy them.

The humble who are called by God’s name.

The man who will purpose to seek God’s face.

The man who knows Elohim, His might and power.

The man who trembles at His word.

The Royal Priesthood, the chosen generation, unspotted from the world.

The man whose will is lost in His.

The valiant man who will thread down the altars of Baal and decree against principalities and powers.

The man who knows his identity in Christ Jesus.

A man who will not entangle himself with the affairs of this world.

A man who has kept himself pure.

Could this man be you?
