Assuring Grace

Jeremiah 1:5KJV Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Whenever I read this scripture, I am built up and encouraged. My spirit and my soul leaps for joy! For this scripture not only speaks of Jeremiah the Prophet, but it speaks of all of us! For the Lord, our God not only knew, sanctified, and ordained Jeremiah a Prophet, but this scripture is also far more reaching, It bears out a statement regarding all men. Before we were placed in the womb, before we were formed in the belly, The Lord our God knew us! And before we came forth out of the womb, He sanctified us and ordained us for a specific purpose.

Our lives have spiritual purpose, and our lives are purposed! We’ve been given value and significance before we get here. Furthermore, this scripture bears witness we are not hereby happenstance, nor luck. Nor are we to be subjected to the opinion of the world or others who define one’s value by the dollars in their pocket, the assets in their possession, or the hue of their skin. Our lives bear witness to a blessing, a status we did not, nor could not purchase, for it was inherited from heaven! And it was good! For we are wonderfully and beautifully made!

John 15:16 KJV Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:

We were chosen, purposed, and ordained that our existence shall bring forth the fruit of our inheritance! Hallelujah! What better gift could a Father bestow upon His children.

Psalm 139:13-14 KJV For thou hast possessed my reins: Thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well.

What transformative scriptures! My soul does magnify the Lord! I have all I need! All that is left for us to do, is BELIEVE!

What a powerfully reassuring scripture. It does help you to know that Elohim has our back. He even loved us long before we knew Him and He has the final say concerning our lives. Halleluyah!!
