I Am Not Fazed

We went to visit a brother who had received some news that should have sunk him. As we sat down, he said to us, “Look, I am not fazed!” “I feel good in myself”.
We couldn’t help exclaiming, “Yes, yes, yes!!!” The visit turned from a gloomy one to praising God Almighty, The Faithful One, The All Powerful, the One to be adored, reverenced, glorified, honoured. This brother’s faith is fiery, and you could feel the life in it.
You could see in this brother’s eyes, affirming the majesty of our King of Kings, with whom nothing is impossible. You could see that the report he accepted was that of peace and not of evil, with an expected end, Jeremiah 29:11. You could hear his heart singing out,” for I know who I have believed and persuaded that He will keep what I have committed to Him against the day, 2 Timothy 1:12. You could witness a strong echoing, “For I know that my redeemer lives”, Job 19:25. Amen! My God reigns forever, and His report supersedes any other report. This brother’s faith is worth emulating. Wow! Strength in the face of adversity.
Faith speaks, acts, sees, moves and does the impossible. Trusting Him who made the summer, autumn, winter and spring, and nothing stops them in their season is the ultimate. Staying in Him who made the sun, moon, winds, storms, tempest and billows that no man can tame is wisdom.
I remembered that Goliath did not faze David, 1 Samuel 17:51. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were not fazed in the face of fire, Daniel 3:16. Elizabeth and Zachariah did not bother with barrenness, Luke 1:6-7. Prison was a place of special praise and worship for Paul and Silas, Acts 16:25-27. Sickness did not deter Job, nor were Peter and John fazed by beatings given to them for preaching the Gospel, Acts 5:40-42. Our Jesus didn’t bother with houses and properties, Matthew 8:20.
Please do not be fazed by anything, not even the news given to you by a man or from a machine that has margins of error. Even if they saw what it showed, see by faith that you will live to see the goodness of God in the land of the living, Psalm 27:13.
Arise, stand your ground and speak to that fear, intimidation, challenges, demons and principalities. Tell them you are not fazed. Take the bull by the horns. Faith is alive, a shining sword, a glare of lightning and sounds of thunder; it cuts through any barrier, quenches every contrary imagination, and shields from arrow and darts. It stands eyeball to eyeball with Satan and shrugs off doubt. Nothing can stop a moving faith but YOU if you are fazed!
Now shut down fear, sickness, depression, worry, anxiety, uncertainty, failure, poverty, lack, bad omen, evil thought, bad news, rejection, depression, addiction to any substance, defilement, immoral life, the urge and craving for uncleanliness, pride and idolatry. Just name as many as you can remember, 2 Corinthians 10:5.
Call forth the health, the wealth, the peace, salvation, deliverance, joy, grace, Job, house, plenty, food, mercy, favour, success, promotion, boldness and all the goodness you deserve.
We have a God that never fails, the creator of heaven and earth, the everlasting and faithful Father. Our God calls those things which be not as though they were, and so should we, Romans 4:17.
