Idolatry In Style
You can only rename a child, but you cannot change the genes. No wonder we can say “St Valentine”, but the character, looks, and attitude are those of “Papa Lupercalia”.
Idolatry baptised, christened or anointed is still idolatry. Lupercalia was renamed St Valentine. How does that sound? Haha! It doesn’t match at all. It is a deliberate effort to mask the former.
Modern history and religion, coupled with search engines that show us only what they want us to see, have obscured the truth from the world, and this is still propagating to blind future generations.
Eish! Sacrifices and a festival for the “god of fertility.” We don’t have many more stories to tell; history books have it all. This is the she-wolf “Lupus” that protected Romulus and Remus, founders of Rome. It is hilarious that modern times are covering it with flowers and chocolates. You can now see why love in these times is temporal and lasts only as long as it does.
It baffles me to see Christians do Valentine’s services and gift flowers to their pastors who are as ignorant as they are. Please, let’s be careful and get ourselves out of idolatry. Ignorance is no excuse. We cannot serve God and mammon, Matthew 6:24 (KJV)
The first commandment is “Thou shalt have no other gods before me”. Genesis 20:3 (KJV)
We should not associate ourselves with the sin of lust, fornication and adultery rife in this season. Lust and love are not the same. Keep yourself pure.
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts. Ephesians 4:22 (KJV)
Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul. 1 Peter 2:11 (KJV)
