Assuring Grace

Attaining one level of power in our life gives us a sense of achievement. Ranging from the power of independence transiting from teenage years to adult life to becoming a president of a nation or CEO of a large organisation. All of them have limitations and boundaries that are restrictive. They are temporal and only for a stage in life.

There is the ultimate which Elohim gives to those who surrender their life to Him. This power is not limited by boundaries. As long as we remain in Him, these powers are certain.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

When we talk about the promised power, the package is full. You take out as much as you can until your cup runs over. The wells of these powers are deep and filled with grace.  You draw with the bucket of faith, hope and joy, knowing that our God never fails.

John 1:12 KJV But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name .

To mention but a few of the said privileges are;

Power to leave a godly life

Power of faith

Power to believe and trust Him

Power of peace

Power of joy

Power to be strong

Power to be courageous

Power to know what he can do

Power to endure

Power to behold Him in His glory

Power of wisdom and understanding

Power of discernment

Power to be like him

Power to understand that we are not of this world

Power of holiness

Power to preach the gospel

Power over sickness

Power over sin, Satan, and the world

Power to say no to evil thoughts

Power to say no to corruption

Power to say when you are enticed

Power to reject occultism

Power to tread on serpents and scorpions

Power to become the sons of God

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”

Isaiah 40:29 KJV

It takes the knowledge of what God says about you to operate in them. Ignorance will deny you the authority to exercise these powers. As the scriptures say.
