Assuring Grace

I planted some baby potatoes, which were disturbed by squirrels. They kept digging them up, but few survived. When I harvested and washed them, they looked like smooth round pebbles. They were the first fruit and should be presented.

Also, they were so cute, and my mind went straight to the children at church to have them, but there were few potatoes. It could not be shared. I didn’t want to leave any child out, yet it could only make a child’s meal.

Quickly, the Lord said, “I know your thoughts and how you love every child at church. I will choose for you. Give it to Nathan. His parents gave me everything he was given at his dedication as a seed on his behalf, although they needed every dime of that money.”

Wow! Sorted. Our labour is not in vain in the Lord. There is a day of remembrance. You may have forgotten your good deeds or thought no one noticed. You may think the boat you are in now will sink, and the sharks will swallow you. You may think time is gone, there is no hope, and you can never catch up.

You sigh daily. There is no light in the tunnel. You have eventually given up and thrown in the towel.

Remember, there is a God in heaven. He remembered Rachel and opened her womb. Genesis 30:22 He heard the groaning of the children of Israel and remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Exodus 2:24 He remembered Noah at the time of the flood. Genesis 8:1 King Ahasuerus could not sleep because the book of records needed to be open for Mordecai’s reward. Esther 6

It is time to remember you, and you are remembered. Weep not, sigh not, regret no more. Take your hand off your chin. God see everything. He is always on time and does not count time as we do. He has promised and will not fail. He is the Father to the fatherless and the Husband to the widow. Keep up the good work in the Lord. Your labour will not be in vain. Thank Elohim for His goodness and mercy and lovely kindness. You are not forgotten.

Just the reminder the Jesus doesn't forget about us makes life worth it. That example of Yeshua remembering Nathan because of his parents sacrifice when he didn't give it himself. I thank God for parents that love Jesus and their children. Beautiful example.
