Hunger And Thirst For Righteousness

Psalm 63:1-3 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
This Psalm is loaded with the revelation of how the hearts of saints should be inclined and what we can find when we walk in that fashion. First, we need to seek Him early, just as Jesus did in Mark 1:35. Second, our soul needs to be fixated on Him in unending thirst. Third, we need to desire to experience His awesome power and glory. It is clear that His love is better than life. All these inspire praise from the depths of our hearts.
