Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
A lot of people have fallen because they accepted what is supposedly good. Daniel and his brothers knew that the King's good food will defile them and they determined not to eat it. Pray that you will not fall cheap to the enticement of the wicked and if you have compromised, ask God for forgiveness and grace to refuse the lures of this world.
